About

I created this space as a resource on the subject of yoga, mindful living and lifestyle. Yoga has been instrumental as a tool on my path to self-discovery and has helped me become comfortable in my own skin.

Teaching yoga is my life’s calling. I’m skilled at making yoga feel accessible to beginners. While I love practicing and teaching asana — the alignment, the anatomy, and the art of mindful movement — I’m ultimately interested in the process of yoga and how it reveals a deeper understanding of who we are. I believe it is my dharma (duty) to help others explore yoga by sharing my experiences on this journey.

I am a student first, teacher second. Everything I share with you is based on my personal experience including thousands of hours of study, nearly four years of hands-on teaching and many more years of my own personal practice.

I am inspired by my acharya (spiritual teacher) Scott Murphy who has dedicated nearly three decades of his life to studying and teaching yoga. My life partner has been my greatest cheer-leader, encouraging me to follow my dreams and my children who have allowed me the space and time to learn and grow along with them.

This platform is a reflection of my love and devotion to yoga, wellness and the simple pleasures of life. Yoga is not about nailing the pose but about re-uniting with our true selves and recognizing the divinity that resides in us all. It’s about how we live life off the mat which truly matters.
